a. [ Gr. &unr_; = &unr_; to knock, beat. ] (Physiol.) (a) Of or pertaining to dicrotism; as, a dicrotic pulse. (b) Of or pertaining to the second expansion of the artery in the dicrotic pulse; as, the dicrotic wave. [ 1913 Webster ]
