| Paxwax | n. [ For faxvax, fr. AS. feax hair (akin to OHG. fahs) + weaxan to grow. See Wax to grow, and cf. Faxed, Pectinate. ] (Anat.) The strong ligament of the back of the neck in quadrupeds.
