Idiom: Cheap as chips

 

ราคาถูกมาก

 

Meaning: very inexpensive

 

Example: The clothes here are cheap as chips!

 

 

Idiom: Big cheese

 

เจ้านาย

 

Meaning: Another way of saying “the boss.”

 

คนที่สำคัญมาก ผู้นำ

 

Example: He's the big cheese around here, so if you have any suggestions, they'll have to go through him first.

ต่างกันโดยสิ้นเชิง

 

Meaning: Things that have nothing in common.

 

แตกต่างกันเหมือนฟ้ากับดิน   ต่างกันเหมือนดำกับขาว

 

Example: It's hard to believe those two are brothers, they're chalk and cheese.
