Arise

v. i. [ imp. Arose p. pr. & vb. n. Arising; p. p. Arisen ]. [ AS. ārīsan; ā (equiv. to Goth. us-, ur-, G. er-, orig. meaning out) + rīsan to rise; cf. Goth. urreisan to arise. See Rise. ] 1.
